Well hello there, internet! Man, it sure has been a while. I'll start with the * in my title:

Well hello there!

Dare I say I've got a bit of recapping to do! Let's see there was Halloween, a little bit of Comicon and helping my bestie get moved! Been a busy couple of weeks! <- yeah I said that when I STARTED this blog which ... was a while ago now, too. Wow I suck at this.  

Spotting Halloween

There are some wrenches in the works keeping not only me, but my bestie who is also a Halloween Junkie, from indulging in our freakin' holiday! Neither of us are able to access our decorations, we've got costumes planned but it's not the same. To cope, and still enjoy the Halloween season, we've found some ways to sneak it in!

It came from the shadows! On a night, far enough in advance of Halloween to not interfere with anyone's planned costumes - but still close enough to Halloween to be part of the season - PROM NIGHT MASSACRE! 

It's time for an update!

I've had an update in mind, mostly about A NEW DOOR! Because we replaced the front door and it's pretty epic. However I'm not ready for the after pictures just yet, as we still need break out these new planters but it's so close. So very close! Besides that, I done took a straight trip to funky town. (I was actually going to post a video for the song, but did you know that ish is like 9 minutes long?! Admit it though, you heard the song in your head as soon as I event mentioned it!)

 I'm such a control freak, that if I panic in advance about any and all worst case scenarios, then somehow - I was aware in advance. Right?! Other control freaks feel me!! Dylan's lovingly pointed out before that this is me: 

See, the joke is of course that that dog is part of the viral "this is fine" ... um, meme? Anyway, you can find the background here: This is fine.

We hit a snag today that,  given some time, is going to be freaking hilarious. But until that day gets here, I'm riddled with anxiety instead. 

Though, thanks to the magic of my loved ones I really am feeling quite a bit better! The good news? When I'm ready for it to be hilarious, I've got a post ready to roll out. 

In the meantime, Halloween is still coming! So let's enjoy a little of that.

Work on the house continues ever onward. That's pretty much the way it goes, right? You do one thing, and it's a whole dominoing snowball until you've left no rug unturned! No faucet unpolished! No pantry un-well I haven't done anything to the pantry (yet.) but you get my drift. You know, honestly, we could look back at the real tip of this iceberg being that fabulous camel bar we brought home - but I digress!
