Spotting Halloween

There are some wrenches in the works keeping not only me, but my bestie who is also a Halloween Junkie, from indulging in our freakin' holiday! Neither of us are able to access our decorations, we've got costumes planned but it's not the same. To cope, and still enjoy the Halloween season, we've found some ways to sneak it in!
First thing's first: PUMPKINS! We spent a Friday night with another girlfriend of ours. It was a great night! We went to the store to choose our pumpkins, got Pumpkin Spice Lattes and a big plate of super nachos, threw a couple of ciders into the mix, and made landfall. Hunkered down to watch Nightmare Before Christmas and carve our masterpieces.
Manda carved the excellent face, mine's the cat (are you surprised?) and Adri carved Totoro!!!
Check 'em out all lit up (and I'll take this opportunity to thank TJ for getting us those tea lights!)

Here's the lineup out in the driveway charming the masses

I had a stent watching my parent's house, so I got some inexpensive towels and a mug to spend that stay with me:
Better than nothing right?
I tell you what, that mug went really well with my friend Cyndie's macarons
She makes those, like from scratch. Are they not the cutest cookies you've ever seen?
Then, back at home, there's my daily walk with the pup (since it's nice enough out for evening walks) and my neighbors are into the Halloween Spirit too!
This past Monday Manda and I got together to watch Dancing (maybe we can't go full-on Halloween but ain't nothin' keeping us from Dancing.) We crafted little coffins to enjoy with our tuna pasta
Found the tins @ Party City, and stuffed crescent dough with spinach and cheese.
So, maybe it's not the amount of over-the-top-CONSTANT Halloweening we'd both prefer, but we're still indulging in out favorite holiday. We'll take it!
