Last week I had another dogsitting adventure, albeit less adventurous this round
(no hilarious tales to share, sorry about that guys!) What I did manage to do was cook,
and take a few photos along the way. When I uploaded my pics I realized something -
I have a food angle. Don't believe me? See for yourself!
Right before I moved into my dogsitting house, Dylan and I made taco salads at home. Thanks to Google, Dylan was able to replicate the Chipotle dressing perfectly and it was crazy delicious. Of course I had to take pictures. First, the tasty salad:
Then, how the dressing came together:
So, can you tell where the camera was? Don't worry if you don't see it yet, there's more.
While pup-sitting, I went ahead and pre-made my breakfast yogurts so I could grab and go. I liked the way the blueberries made the cinnamon explode, so I stopped and snagged a shot.
Camera's in the same place yet again!
Here's where I figured it out - tonight at home again, Dylan put together this beautiful marinade for our chicken. I had to stop and take a photo right? Here it is:
Tell me you see the food angle now!
I realized it for myself when I went through my photos to try and form a blog post. Lucky for me, this technically makes one. However - to keep it from being painfully boring (although, I have to say, I think my food angle is pretty cool) I've got some more fun to share.
We'll start with one of the dogsitting pups. The thing about dogs being cute, well, animals in general - as soon as they realize you're onto them they stop. Especially if you go for your camera. The trick is to just keep snapping photos. I got lucky!
Isn't she lovely? Hee hee.
Also, in efforts to keep this post from being too boring/lacking in content - doodles.
Yes, doodles. I had this cup from Carl's Jr. and the dudes advertising a sport (forgive me for being clueless) looked so intense. I wanted to lighten that up, so I grabbed a sharpie.
I'll admit it, that was fun.
And lastly - a cartoon! (Why do I always end with these? I should start with them!)
I kept seeing these "his side vs. her side" gag-photos going viral on facebook. So I decided to make one to depict how things go at the Boswell House.
Thanks for reading, I'll see you again next time.
