Fun With Internets

Last weekend we had a couple of friends over on their way between Texas and California. While in town they wanted to indulge in some classic Arizona traditions. They had bacon wrapped hot dogs, hung out with cacti and went out into the wilderness to go shooting with us!
There are some places in/near/around town dedicated to such activities. To go shooting outdoors
you travel to the wilderness - but not so wild that there aren't trails
and dirt roads as well as an all over knowledge of how to shoot, where to point, and a shared
understanding that others are out shooting as well. There, see? Everyone was safe. Now, onto the fun!

Part One: The lovely scenery!

Part Two: Remnants of previous shooters
Mostly, I just thought this was a neat photo op. But also, it's another
reminder to be aware of your surroundings.

Part Three: Shoot things.

In order to complete step three, you need some targets.

First up: A couple of explody shots ... hey look at that! Shots works two ways in that description!

And now, I bring you.... animated GIFs!

Everything about making these GIFs was fun. First off, the continuous shooting mode on my camera was really fun when going out a-shooting. Second, I found this great website that will make GIFs for you!

And that lovely website segways us into the whole point of my post!
Fun With Internets!

What really got me started was the other night when Dylan looked over at Sherman and Fifi sharing one dog bed looking like they were on duty somehow. He made the joke that Sherman must be a crimefighter and Fifi his faithful sidekick. That's when I grabbed my camera
Moved around for a better shot ...
Got the perfect picture, uploaded it for editing and here you have it friends ...

Super Marms and his faithful sidekick Weefs.

Isn't it great?! That was as much fun to make as it is to look at (and man, I really hope its fun to look at!) But that only got me started, see, Arnie has been obsessed with this box we got from Costco a few weeks ago
So when we came home the other day with a new box, I thought maybe he would ditch Old Yeller. He tried on the new box for size, but ultimately returned to his little yellow bestie. Of course, while he was investigating the new box, I grabbed my camera. And that's when I got this gem:

Hahahahahah!

Alright guys, there you have it, fun with internets, fun with pets, fun with software.
See you next time!
