The Boswell House: The Lost Blogs

I've been involved in a couple of things as of late that lead to the inspiration for this post:
Inspiration #1: Clarissa Explains It All
Dylan and I recently signed up for Hulu and the first thing I did was begin to binge through the entire series. It's relevant to my inspiration because that show always had awesome themes and graphics!

Inspiration #2: The Loft Cinema's All Nite Scream-O-Rama!
The poster is a little more intense than the overall campiness of the evening, I assure. I'm proud to say, I made it the whole night!! Mostly thanks to my super human ability to sleep anywhere and through anything. (I'm pretty surprised I'm not sore, no kink in my neck, nothing! Totally fine!) I got to be in the "I survived" photo:
Not only that, but I also won a trivia prize for knowing that Rutger Hauer was in the 1993 film "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" heh. A shining dork moment for me.

At any rate, all of the cheesy, over the top narrations gave me a great gimmick for all the photos I took along the way when I apparently refused to blog.

Brace yourself! They're coming! There's no turning back now! Submitted for your approval

Lost Post: Pizza and Anime Night
I've made a couple of mentions that The Dudes come over about once a week and we watch various anime series. Hunter X Hunter, Aldnoah Zero, Seven Deadly Sins, Attack on Titan, Your Lie in April, and now we're in to Death Note. I must say, I can't think of better ways to spend my time. Take from that what you will. Thing is, we often do this on a week night, so it's only natural that we want to have some dinner alongside our excellent entertainment experience. Sometimes we bring tasty items home, other times we cook simple things, and every so often, we get a little elaborate because it's fun. Case in point: English Muffin Pizza Night.

It was fun setting up the pizza creation stations
We had: Pepperoni (of course) bacon, onion, bell peppers, artichokes, mushrooms and black olives. Things got really delicious when we started putting pesto instead of marinara! The toaster oven was the star of the show, and just like that, we had delicious creations hot out of the oven and ready to consume!

Lost Post: Emily & Dylan's 6th Wedding Anniversary!
We celebrated by doing what we do best ... eat. Okay, wait, COOK and eat. We're pretty good at the first part. So, I snapped a few photos of our made-lovingly-at-home Anniversary Brunch and our fancy made-lovingly-at-home Anniversary Dinner. That's pretty much all I did, which I suppose is how it became a lost blog. The important thing is, we're both looking forward to many anniversaries to come!
I'm pretty proud of those mimosa photos

Toast ala France!

Then for dinner, we made spaghetti squash carbonara, which was actually pretty tasty but man alive was it ever hard to get decent photos of it!
This is where a recap should take place, some words of wisdom to part ways with - but I've got nothing. See you guys next time, thanks for reading!
