Food AND Progress, does it get better than that?

Good news! In the last couple of weeks we made serious stride in our water areas. You know, the master bath and the kitchen. Let's start with a recap on the kitchen, since that's what we finished first.

I don't quite remember when we officially finished this project - but I do know I never shared it on the ol' blog, so check it out!

Next up! Delicious, amazing feats of culinary wonder seen only here 

at The Boswell House 

First up: SALAD! We jazzed this puppy up using bacon, cheese and chopped beets. 

Not too shabby, eh?

Next up: Kababs! 

Delicious grilled steak, tomatoes, mushrooms and bell peppers all served up alongside ranch beans. Dylan whipped up a tasty marinade using this amazing garlic & cilantro balsamic vinegar we picked up at Bisbee Olive Oil in March. It's even better the 2nd day as leftovers! 

Of course, I've saved the best for last. Ladies and gents, I present to you:

The worlds most epic leftovers. 

What do you do when you have 1 leftover whole chicken from the grocery store, a bag of brussels sprouts and a jar of pesto? You make the worlds most epic leftovers. 

Dylan made a chicken salad with almonds, tomato, onion and the pesto using our leftover chicken We then shredded and sauteed the brussels sprouts and served everything up together. 

Oh. My. God. 

I wish we had this every day of our lives. I don't think it'd be possible to get burnt out on a dish so dang fantastic. 

But what do you do when you're well fueled on great grilling, tantalizing salads and legendary leftovers? 

You finally tackle your master bathroom. 

Here it is folks....

we grouted!!!! 

Turns out grouting is some pretty dirty work, who knew?

We were on a roll, we grouted the ENTIRE SHOWER in one shot. We didn't stop at one wall and go back in 2 weeks OH NO. We kept going. And do you know what else? We cleaned it up, too! 

Hahah!!! It's magnificent!!! 

Now, we still have some fine scrubbing to do to ensure everything's pretty, we let that dry and then we can seal all of that fresh new grout. In the meantime, we still need to find some shower fixtures and we're considering replacing the toilet. We'll let you guys know how all of that is going.
